US-CT-Business Analyst with Reinsurance Workflow Experience - Hartford

The consultant will serve as the Sr. Business Analyst. His Services
will include but not be limited to:

Assessment of the current state of operational and business practices
for a candidate system or process to be transitioned / retired

Documentation of the future state business requirements for
transitioning to a strategic platform

Recommendations surrounding improvements to the current process.

Support the detailed and high level technical requirements from a
business SME perspective

Liaison from a business perspective for the team

The consultant will work in a collaborative team environment with the
current engagement team members, as well as business partners and
stakeholders, in order to perform expected duties

The consultant should be able to work on their own, with little or no
oversight from the project management team. It is expected that the
consultant should be able to lead their own meetings and analysis
sessions.

Experience within the Commercial Insurance industry including Property
& Casualty lines of business.

Experience serving as a Sr. Business Analyst on technical projects

working with technical analysts, system/product owners to define
business requirements and map to technical solutions

Experience with implementing projects utilizing industry SDLC
standards: Use Case Methodology, Business Process Analysis, UML, OOAD,
etc.

The consultant will support the development and implementation of
communication plans to disseminate project status and maintain staff
awareness of project goals and accomplishments.

The consultant will be the project owner for all business requirements
specific project deliverables.

The consultant will evaluate, design, and oversee the development /
delivery of specific instructional materials in support of the
implementation of system deliverables.
